Microsoft hat nun Directx 9.0c zum Download bereitgestellt.

Die Redistributable ist 34 MB groß, mehrsprachig und für alle Betriebssysteme seit Windows 98 verfügbar.

Den Download findet Ihr in der Quelle, da die Datei noch nicht über das Windows Update verfügbar ist.

Eine Deinstallation ist derzeit, wie immer, nicht möglich, also ist etwas Vorsicht bei der Installation geboten.
