Die Computerzeitschrift c't berichtet, dass man aus seiner 'Windows XP Home Edition' ganz leicht und mit einem kleinen Eingriff eine 'Professional- Edition' machen kann.

Der Zeitschrift nach muss man bei Windows XP Home nur zwei Bytes bei der Registry ändern - und schon soll man 'Windows XP Professional' auf seinem PC haben.

Dieser Eingriff ist selbstverständlich nicht legal. Im Vergleich zur 'Home-Edition' hat 'Professional' viele Sicherheitsvorteile, wie z. B., dass man ohne Admin-Rechte arbeiten kann.

Mir solls egal sein. Ich habs rumliegen in einer legalen gebrannten Version :zungeraus:

Aber nutzen tu ich da doch lieber Windows 2003 Server Enterprise. Ebenfalls legal gebrannt. Und das und noch viel mehr für umsonst. :allesgute:
