Schöner Mix, auch wenn ich anfangs ebenfalls dachte, das ist doch gar nicht Gigi-Style (und eher, wie es hlennarz formulierte, "Bozza Grezza" klingen). Vor allem der erste Titel geht mir inzwischen richtig ins Ohr, und der zweite fetzt ebenfalls. Dass da noch ein Album kommt, bezweifle ich allerdings, auch wenn das Label von Gigi Ende 2016 doch seinen damaligen Mix auf Facebook mit dem Vermerk "Bald..." veröffentlichte, wohl als Anspielung auf ein angeblich anstehendes neues Album bzw. eine neue CD von Gigi. Und ja, auch dass Bartolotti Anfang 2017 von einem noch dieses Jahr erscheinenden neuen Gigi-Album gesprochen hat... also mal ehrlich, jetzt haben wir schon fast Oktober, das Jahr ist doch schon fast wieder rum. Und hat Gigi sich jemals selber zu einem neuen Album bzw. einer digitalen Veröffentlichung eines neuen Werks geäußert? Ich bin zwar nicht in der Casa Dag etc., aber man hätte ja da wohl mal was mitbekommen. Ich lasse mich gerne positiv überraschen, aber momentan bin ich da eher skeptisch. Erst wenn Gigi da selber konkret wird, glaube ich daran. Es wäre jedenfalls ein Traum nach so langer Zeit ohne richtige Veröffentlichung! Ob nun ein Album kommt oder nicht: Immerhin können wir dankbar sein, dass wir ab und an neue Kurz-Mixe mit neuen Titeln von Gigi auf YouTube geschenkt bekommen :)

Honestly, I am not at all impressed. The bass and kick are cheap and it's nearly the same in all songs. The deeper tones are muddy and it's difficult to hear any details. Especially when there is something going on in the mid/higher tones. It doesn't appear that any mastering has been going on, something that becomes more apparent because of all the clipping. And all the songs are nearly identical. Strip away maybe half of the songs, and the overall impression might have been better. It might be a hard critique, but we're talking about Elena Tanz and Stefano di Carlo!! Edit: One is wondering what Gigi and Elena have been doing together all these years???
