Aha, Alex Spadoni spricht selber von PROGRESSIVE HOUSE und SAMPLES von einem 90er ITALO DANCE Hit. Na, da bin ich ja gespannt, was das für eine Geschichte wird.

I can't believe it! Oh yeah…I'm starting to realize that within a couple of days "Crash Test 02" is finished! Well, at least it is for all that regards the production and mix phase. All that is left to do is the artwork and the mastering in London and it surely is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the great amount of effort spent on the follow up album of "Crash Test 01". It's taken a long time and I must admit it's been hard, it has widely tested our physical and mental resistance and we've learned a lot from all this. I believe this album is where our past and our future encounter, where all our experience meets experimentation and sets the basis for what is to come no matter the market results. Among all this we have rediscovered the vibe of the beats that have walked our paths but that we, even for a short moment of time, have put in the shade. We've appreciated the union of our new production attitudes with the old methods that have taught us so much over the years. We've obviously made some mistakes along the way that have driven us back on the road. But the good part about it is? We're glad to say that even if we've heard the album a million times: "We still feel that we've produced a good album…if it wasn't ours we'd go and buy it!" Now…let's hope to get a release date as soon as possible… We want you to hear it… Next step: The Live tour production…! Another serious phase ? Daniela Galli und Sandy Chambers haben sich zusammen getan, aber es ist leider kein Italo Dance geworden, zumindest laut der Version auf DHANY's myspace-Seite nicht. Ich bin recht enttäuscht..........zwei der besten weiblichen Italo-Stimmen - und dann so was............. SOUND

Deshalb zweifele ich auch etwas, aber der name SPADONI steht ja ( auch ) für Italo Dance, vielleicht gibt es ja zwei unterschiedliche Stile ( " Alternative Mix " ?? ). Ansonsten müssen wir das Thema ggf. verschieben.

Ja, da kann ich nur zustimmen. Überflüssig ist die Scheibe Nicht mal viele italienische Produktionen sind dort zu finden, was ja auch irgendwo ein Armutszeugnis darstellt. Ich befürchte ( oder hoffe ), diese Scheibe wird nicht mehr Nummer 1. Wer es mag, soll so einen Megamix kaufen, ich brauch das nicht. Fiorello hätte mich ggf. interessiert................. Mal sehen, was die Sommerausgabe Vol.18 bringt.

Yes I think so. KEN LASZLO was and is one of THE names of italian dance music. His real name is GIANNI CORAINI. I like his special voice. When you listen to a song you immediately know it is HE singing. HEY HEY GUY was his first hit and it is still a classic. The next songs were hits too - the MEMORY RECORDS productions ( Don't Cry - Madame - Tonight - Everybody's Dancing, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, Glasses Men ). When he collaborated with Farina - Crivellente in the 90s he still had his super hits like EVERYTIME, WHAT A LONELY NIGHT, LOVE THINGS, WHATEVER LOVE, WHEN I FALL IN LOVE or MAYBE A LONELY NIGHT. I even liked his cover versions of famous hits like VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR or SUMMER NIGHTS. His album Dr. KEN and MR. LASZLO sold more than hundred thousands copies !!!! You can hear his voice also in a lot of eurobeat productions and on other italo dance projects like RIC FELLINI or TOMMY B WATERS. In the 00s his greatest hit was INSIDE MY MUSIC ( now on MEDIA RECORDS ). I got a message from him a few hours ago where he told me about new songs in italo disco and dance style in the next future - but not only dance. He will produce his own songs from now on. Maybe you and Marcello Catalano can work together with him and start a new project ?? I think a team Ken Laszlo - Cristiano Borsa - Marcello Catalano could become THE hit team.
