It's the same album like Mater Mood in 2012 :hmm:

You are right, what the… I foolishly clicked on buy before checking the tracklist. Now I feel dumb, but also kind of deceived for buying the same thing twice 👎 Was really looking forward to hearing some new stuff as I loved the first album. What a shame.

  2. Hello Broh,

today I added another song in digital version of an old single album of mine from 1994 called NEURONE which is one of my many aliases, such as TIN DRUMS, GROOVE PLANET, NYLON MOON, SMOKE, etc. etc. this is the first, signed by my friend Gigi D'Agostino and Michele Generale. From this track our collaboration began for several years, giving birth to many other interesting productions that you can always find here on my Bandcamp account.

Thanks as always for your support!

    Best

    D.Gas

  3. Am 29.06. veröffentlicht Daniele Gas Creative Nature Vol. 3 (diesmal ohne Gigi) auf Bandcamp. Folgende Tracks werden drauf sein:

    1. Kelly Moran (A Touch Of Piano)
    2. Aprile Quasi Maggio
    3. Girl From Sulcis
    4. Acqua (Revisited Rmx)
    5. Cinque Di Aprile
    6. Primo Di Agosto

  5. Noch ein paar Neue:

Tin Drums - Tin Drums (1994)

    Smoke - Smoke (1996)

    Nur „One“ und „D.Gas Vrs“, „Two“ fehlt.

Nylon Moon - Sky Plus (1996)

    Nylon Moon - Heartage (1996)

Nylon Moon - Angels Of Love (1997)

Is your copy visibly scratched or was it dj-(ab)used? If it’s just clicky with a stronger surface noise, I think that it’s normal here. I’ve come across three copies myself and had two other recordings from other people and none sounded really good. I think that this pressing was not that great when it came out.

It‘s just in a bad state overall, but yeah, lots of scratches (and presumably heavy DJ use, too) which result in occasional skippings and many clicks. I tried my best to reduce some of the damage in the recording through post-processing by manually removing the most annoying clicks, cutting out some skips and “sewing” it back together, but it‘s far from ideal. So while the sound quality on this new release is nothing to write home about (and arguably even worse than my original recording), it‘s at least a complete uninterrupted recording with fewer clicks.

  7. Has anyone bought the digital version yet? I‘m listening to it right now and while it‘s nice to have this as an official digital release, I‘m a little bit disappointed by the audio quality. It sounds quite flat with very little dynamics. Even the recordings from my 1994 retail vinyl, which is in a very poor shape, sound richer than this. What’s more, you can hear some noticeable clicks and scratches from the vinyl recording being used here. To be honest, I expected a bit more from this, given that it is marketed as „remastered“.

  8. The release is now also available on Bandcamp, both digitally and as 12“ vinyl. What‘s really interesting about this, however, is that it has a completely different label than the one that hlennarz has uploaded on Discogs. Instead of the plain white label with handwriting that mimics the 1994 promo, this one has a professionally printed label with the No Talking Records logo (assuming what‘s displayed there is what you actually receive) 🤔 I don‘t get what‘s going on anymore.

  9. That‘s a really interesting turn of events. At least that‘s some useful information about the label if true. Then I have to wonder, though, why they mimicked the original 1994 promo’s vinyl label so closely, even down to the supposed record label „Subway“? Why not be transparent from the beginning that it is a modern release from Notalkin Recordings?

Edit: To be clear, I‘m not blaming the manufacturer Berliner Vinylwerk for all this „confusion“. I am grateful that they stepped up and put some clarity into this.

Daft is right that it’s against the Discogs policies to sell something under a different entry, e.g. you cannot sell a cassette under a CD or vinyl release page with a note like “WARNING: This is a tape, NOT a CD/LP”. Actually such listings may be reported, but I understand not everyone is keen on submitting a release they just want to sell and I’m personally fine with that if sellers are honest and clear about that in the notes, some sellers even warn you after you place an order, so they can cancel it if you overlook their notes and don’t want it.

Maybe I could understand this behaviour if it were sellers with thousands of items on offer, but this is clearly not the case here (and even then it‘d be strictly prohibited). Especially Gas, as he only has a handful of records for sale, so no one can tell me he couldn‘t create a dedicated release for this obvious re-issue that he was charging 280 € for. Furthermore, they only added that disclaimer after hlennarz had complained to them as they‘re probably fearing refund requests after buyers realize it‘s not the real thing. I find it shady how even now they are defending this thing as if it was the original release, but „improved“. Doesn‘t make any sense at all, except for trying to fool potential buyers into falling for this.

But both releases have 2 in they title, also track Warlock seems the same on both releases.

This looks more like Gigi or/and Luca decided to change tracklist in last moment and he/they forgot to revoke old release from streaming service...

Or this is strange experiment and they wanted this release to be different on different streaming servces 🙂

Maybe it‘s the B-Side‘s B-Side 😏 I agree that it‘s all a bit strange. Either it really is an old version of the release that they forgot to update after the tracklist was changed or it is another version of the release that‘s coming out in addition to the 2014 one. As Marios7 noticed, the Warlock versions really do seem to be different (at least by name), so, in theory, we really could have three completely different tracks on this other release.
