What did I say? 🙂 And I still believe the first Gigi D'Agostino album may appear on vinyl as well. (Let’s hope they release it à la style of their L’amour toujours single, which means no worries and LP sides may end with a transition to the next song and the other sides begin with the end of a previous track. Keeping my fingers crossed for that.)

Since they are re-issuing Some Experiments on CD, it’d be reasonable to come with LP, too. The whole compilation is 159 minutes long, a pack of eight records is unthinkable, the solution must be to squeeze 40 minutes per side on 4 LP’s, either recording it very silent (such LP’s do exist, the longest duration of a side at 33⅓ RPM is around an hour for music) or record it at 16⅔ RPM which is also doable.

I hadn’t realized what date it is until you’ve mentioned it, it looks like it is a joke. The 1st April 2025 is on Tuesday and not Friday as it’s a common day for new releases, the catalogue number looks weird as well, there is only a placeholder instead of a real bar code and the picture shows only one diarrhoea coloured record, the second one which would likely be of different colour is missing. 😁

Ach Leute, natürlich ist das nicht ernst gemeint. Ich dachte das war ersichtlich.

 

Bis April ist es noch eine ganze Weile hin, da hätte doch jeder schon wieder die LT2 vergessen... 😁
