It's a terrible shame. It really is. My philosophy on this is that love means love. And at some point, if you just continue powering through with that, the good will outweigh the bad.

Although I am still aware of the views on it in Germany, and my philosophy might also only work because I am not German. But still I hope that in the future people may hear the song like they did, let's say, ten years ago and the song can be listened to without fearing judgement or accusations.
