9/11: BBC berichtete offenbar zu früh von dem Einsturz eines Gebäudes Die Verschwörungstheorien zum 11. September bekommen neuen Nährboden. Auf Internet-Videoplattformen ist ein BBC-Video aufgetaucht, in dem zu früh von dem Einsturz des World Trade Centers 7 berichtet wird. Während die Journalistin Jane Standley bereits um sieben Minuten vor 17 Uhr New Yorker Zeit den Einsturz des Gebäudes vermeldete, stürzte dieses erst um 17:20 Uhr ein. Die Sendung wurde dann abrupt abgebrochen. BBC verteidigt sich, dass man nichts mit einer Verschwörung zu tun habe. Des Weiteren teilte BBC mit, dass man die Originalbänder nicht mehr hätte.
