“Hi bodies, today is bc friday. You can now and for today only buy our discography for 25€!!! Please consider supporting us today! love Daniele Gas” https://danielegasmaffei.bandcamp.com/
  2. Noch ein paar Neue: Tin Drums - Tin Drums (1994) Leider sind hier nur 2 von 4 Tracks der Originalplatte enthalten, Noisemaker Snare und Tribaltin Drum. Smoke - Smoke (1996) Nur „One“ und „D.Gas Vrs“, „Two“ fehlt.
Progressive Zeit bei Bandcamp veröffentlicht: Gigi Di Agostino & Daniele Gas – Creative Nature Vol. 1 Remix (1994) Gigi D'Agostino & Daniele Gas – Creative Nature Vol. 2 (1994) Daniele Gas - Groove Planet Pt. 2 (1995) Daniele Gas - Groove Planet Pt. 3 (1995) Daniele Gas – Space Ocean (1995)
  5. It‘s just in a bad state overall, but yeah, lots of scratches (and presumably heavy DJ use, too) which result in occasional skippings and many clicks. I tried my best to reduce some of the damage in the recording through post-processing by manually removing the most annoying clicks, cutting out some skips and “sewing” it back together, but it‘s far from ideal. So while the sound quality on this new release is nothing to write home about (and arguably even worse than my original recording), it‘s at least a complete uninterrupted recording with fewer clicks.
  6. Has anyone bought the digital version yet? I‘m listening to it right now and while it‘s nice to have this as an official digital release, I‘m a little bit disappointed by the audio quality. It sounds quite flat with very little dynamics. Even the recordings from my 1994 retail vinyl, which is in a very poor shape, sound richer than this. What’s more, you can hear some noticeable clicks and scratches from the vinyl recording being used here. To be honest, I expected a bit more from this, given that it is marketed as „remastered“.
  7. That could be the case. Another possibility would be that what‘s displayed on Bandcamp is just some digital artwork and when you order it, you actually receive the version that you got from Discogs. It doesn‘t appear to be an actual photo. Anyone willing to spend 200€ to solve this mystery?
  8. The release is now also available on Bandcamp, both digitally and as 12“ vinyl. What‘s really interesting about this, however, is that it has a completely different label than the one that hlennarz has uploaded on Discogs. Instead of the plain white label with handwriting that mimics the 1994 promo, this one has a professionally printed label with the No Talking Records logo (assuming what‘s displayed there is what you actually receive) 🤔 I don‘t get what‘s going on anymore. https://danielegasmaffei.bandcamp.com/album/gigi-dagostino-daniele-gas-experiments-vol-1
  9. That‘s a really interesting turn of events. At least that‘s some useful information about the label if true. Then I have to wonder, though, why they mimicked the original 1994 promo’s vinyl label so closely, even down to the supposed record label „Subway“? Why not be transparent from the beginning that it is a modern release from Notalkin Recordings? Edit: To be clear, I‘m not blaming the manufacturer Berliner Vinylwerk for all this „confusion“. I am grateful that they stepped up and put some clarity into this.
  10. Let‘s say I enabled them an opportunity to sell the item on the correct release page this time 😉
  11. Maybe I could understand this behaviour if it were sellers with thousands of items on offer, but this is clearly not the case here (and even then it‘d be strictly prohibited). Especially Gas, as he only has a handful of records for sale, so no one can tell me he couldn‘t create a dedicated release for this obvious re-issue that he was charging 280 € for. Furthermore, they only added that disclaimer after hlennarz had complained to them as they‘re probably fearing refund requests after buyers realize it‘s not the real thing. I find it shady how even now they are defending this thing as if it was the original release, but „improved“. Doesn‘t make any sense at all, except for trying to fool potential buyers into falling for this.
  14. Gigi D‘Agostino - Rumore Di Fondo (1997) ist ein Cover von Deko! - Panik (1992).
  15. Maybe it‘s the B-Side‘s B-Side 😏 I agree that it‘s all a bit strange. Either it really is an old version of the release that they forgot to update after the tracklist was changed or it is another version of the release that‘s coming out in addition to the 2014 one. As Marios7 noticed, the Warlock versions really do seem to be different (at least by name), so, in theory, we really could have three completely different tracks on this other release.
  16. Well, it seems that there‘s a third Circo Uonz release coming then. The more the better I say 😁
  17. Wow, echt genialer Fund, herzlichen Glückwunsch 👍 Bin auch gar nicht neidisch, kein bisschen, ganz ehrlich 🙈😉
  18. I dare to disagree. Actual release date is 09.02.2009. Release date on Discogs was changed from 2009 to 2000 without any source or explanation.

  22. Der E-Gitarren-Part stammt aus „The Cult - Rain“.
  23. No, it‘s a cover version of the song „Night Drive“ by Giorgio Moroder. That being said, both songs were produced by Moroder and appear on the soundtrack for the movie „American Gigolo“, so there are some similarities in the melodies.
  25. A way to circumvent that restriction is to search for each letter individually. To do so, simply enter the first letter with which a song begins, e.g. „a“, into the first search field and switch it to „Titolo“. In the second search field you then need to enter the author, e.g. „Agostino Luigino“, and switch it to „Nominativo“. You will then receive the search results for all songs starting with that letter with involvement by the respective artist. Should there be a case where there are more than 100 songs starting with a particular letter by an artist, you’d then need to add a second letter to that search for the title, e.g. „aa“, „ab“ etc. While it is a bit inconvenient having to go through all the letters (and possibly numbers) one by one each time, it is at least a way to still access all of his (newly) registered works.
