No, I apparently I got a test pressing as Daniele changed the artwork after the controversy: These are the 6 copies he sells on bandcamp now.

From mixed sources.... Giallone Remix is the shortened 9:05 edit from Gigi's "The Greatest Hits" and not the full, almost 11min track. Some of the other tracks are vinyl rips and some have pretty loud static noise (tracks from Creative Nature Vol.2) The prices he asks for are frankly ridiculous.

Also die originale CDM (zum Glück ohne den grauenhaften "New Radio Cut") auf Vinyl. Naja, wer's braucht. Hätte eigentlich damit gerechnet, dass Sie die Version von der Suono Libero oder der Some Experiments noch draufpacken.

Stay With Me war definitiv nicht als Promo deklariert. Das war eher so ein Fall wie die einzelnen LV Tracks.

Das wäre gut um etwas Zeit zu überbrücken, bis (hoffentlich) neue Releases draußen sind. Aber was ist mit Singles wie "Music: An Echo Deep Inside" = nur auf Vinyl oder auch "Noise Maker Theme" mit der B Seite von Daniele Gas oder Produktionen wie "Voyager" oder "Blasfemia" oder "Stay With Me", wo ja mehr oder weniger jegliche Evidenz aus dem Netz entfernt wurde, dass es den Track mal zu kaufen gab. Und zählte er als Single? Dass die neueren Sachen nicht mehr klassisch als Maxi CD erscheinen ist ja verständlich.

Graz ist ja nicht ausverkauft oder so.

Geht farblich auch schon sehr ins blaue.

it's a thing of principle. I havn't seen other records do that before but the ones from ZYX.

This is a cleanup job (a few hours total for this track, I do click repairs manually with iZotope RX10 on a case-by-case base for each click) I did from a rip I was send years ago by a guy on discogs. (on Youtube: watch?v=nVEIoVoc45s) Yeah the original record has a rather prominent amount of surface noise. Still i'd say this sounds about a thousand miles better then any "official" digital release so far: I guess if one had too much spare time he could hunt down the original equipment (Yamaha/Roland/Korg) and recreate these simple tracks himself. :P

My copy arrived today as well. The cover is a nice matte finish, unfortunately as we expected the "Limited coloured vinyl" text is permanent and not removable by easy means. Fortunately the tracks on decks.de seem to have been done with a poor transfer routine. My copy isn't distorted. It actually sounds pretty clean. The tracks written in yellow in the tracklist are kinda hard to read. But oh well. Interestingly, while the red and yellow records are one solid color, the green one is transluscent like the original 1997 records were. UNfortunately there is that very harsh at 16khz lowpass filter again... I don't get it. ZYX didn't do this up until the The Riddle reissue. I guess they must have changed cutting engineers. I wonder what reasoning is behind this. Make it not distort on those crapy ceramic-cart convenience store record players? No idea... Suspisciously there's no initials of a mastering engineer in the runout again. Lack of confidence in his cut? My cover (ordered directly from ZYX) unfortunately has a small dent on one corner and on the spine.

I'm not paying 15€ for 4 noisy vinyl recordings of obscure audio material i won't ever seriously listen to, lol it's the same rips he did in 2017 i believe. (for the youtube "medley" upload at least)

this might be the final release, and I got an "advance promo" OR Daniele realised the previous design was a bad idea. Anyway, I might have the rarest copy of Experiments 1 now XD (1 out of 3, with two of them never sold ?)

Decks.de now has copies in stock. Sadly, the delay wasn't used to fix the errors. Some of the track previews sound terrible, very distorted. ESPECIALLY Gin Lemon, Bam & Psicadelica I hope that's an issue with their setup and not the record itself...yikes On My Dimension, the right channel drops in volume after a few seconds of the preview and has a jump towards the end... Welp, now the guys from Berliner Vinylwerk have changed the release page on Discogs with description text: "This release was issued in January 2024 under the Notalkin Recordings label, owned by Daniele Gas, with catalog number NT002. It is a limited edition of Experiments Vol 1, featuring a white label and audio remastered from the 1994 version. The vinyl has been meticulously cut onto a 180g support, and the cover is white with a distinctive hole, accompanied by a white inner sleeve coated in plastic."

I will keep it as a curiosity. I told him I'm not happy but assume it was all a misunderstanding and suggested him to update the information. And well, he did in a vague manner.

verkauft sich da halt besser... Vor allem ist Gewicht bei Vinyl ein neumodisches "Hipster" Qualitätsargument. Sagt über die Tonqualität 0,nichts aus.
