Da gab es ja nie ein veröffentlichtes Frontcover zu. (gut, das von der "Those Were The Days" Vinyl habe ich auch schnell selber erstellt*g* )

+ "Those Were The Days ('Mix Ppcom 8 - Hit Music Winter')" DJ Maxwell used a longer version of the Gigi & Luca Noise version here with the third "la la la la" loop at the end that can also be found on the earlier promo mix. HOWEVER it does also include the bridge before the first verse that's not found on the promo mix. I guess the history of this track is something like: (possible #0 = Same as #1 but possibly with the vocal mistake "Those Were The Day" like the "radio" version from Discoparade Winter 2005) #1 = Mix from Promo "Some Experiments" ~ 5:30 in lenght #2 = Mix from Ppcom 8. The bridge at this point had been added, but the final "la la" loop not removed yet. ~ 6:04 in lenght #3 = Mix from Disco Tanz with the "la la" loop removed and tempo/pitch slightly lowered. ~ 5:55 in lenght #4 = "Su Le Mano" version with new beat portion during verse and fadeout at the end. ~5:20 in lenght It's fascinating how many little alterations to this track are "out there". This might also explain why the announced vinyl release never happened. Maybe Gigi was never happy with it or something, lol

In a similar fashion, some of the 2005 era songs that appeared on samplers in Italy have less compressed mastering on those. The most noticeable example I found was "Those Were The Days (Gigi Dag & Luca Noise)". On "DJ Zone 17 - Dance Session 07", the track has around 2.6dB more dynamic range and looks like it's completely uncompressed. I also has a slightly longer fadeout and such. And I hope on one of these that hasn't been found/added to discogs yet we will one day find the full "Pathos" version of that track that made it to "Discoparade Winter 2005". :P

Another thing I just rememberd: The ZYX "Bla Bla Bla" single seems to use an earlier master than all other releases. The biggest noticeable difference is that "Abbentenza Mix" has a longer fadeout (around 5 seconds). The channels are also reversed, though that could be a classic ZYX messup (this also happened on their New Years Day & Gin Lemon singles partially.)

Good to see he hasn't completely dedicated himself to the "Festival EDM" crap yet.

Habe Melody Voyager nun in die Version von der EP und die Album Version gesplittet. Auf dem Album ist das nicht nur ein einfacher Schnitt. Auf der EP hallt an der Stelle noch der vorherige Part aus.

Noch etwas ist mir aufgefallen: Bei der ersten ital. Ausgabe des L'Amour Toujours Album "(ALB/003)" scheint das inlay IMMER zerknickt zu sein auf der "Noise Maker" Seite. Ich dachte erst da hätte nur ich eine stark gebrauchte CD erhalten, aber selbst bei noch originalverschweißten (kürzlich noch auf ebay) sieht die Seite so aus. O_o:

"Radici Dag", "Godfather Film Music" & to a lesser extend "Please Don't Cry" could never match their originals.

Vielleicht ähnlich wie die gelochten "Tommy Boy" Elisir Singles in den USA. Als eine Art "Markierung", dass die Singles zu einem reduzierten Preis verkauft werden sollen (Ladenhüter).

Habe versucht den "Limited Coloured Vinyl" Text mit Nagellackentferner weg zu bekommen. Ich sag nur: keine gute Idee bei der rauen, nicht laminierten Hülle. Bestelle mir jetzt eine selbst angepasste "Bootleg" Hülle ohne den hässlichen Text neu aus den USA. Klanglich aber wiedermal murks. Nichts über 16,5kHz.

Another one I thought of today: Where did ZYX Music get the complete track of "Un Giorno Credi" ? I mean the Version from Tecno Fes 2. On both the first version of the Essential Compilation AND their "Best Of" one it has a full outro unlike the TF2 version.

Mal sehen wie weit er diesmal kommt... *hust* Bei dem was er nur noch so Live spielt hab ich auch ehrlich gesagt wenig Interesse an "neuem" Material. Eine "Collection Vol.3" würde mich schon eher aufhorchen lassen.

Und wieder mit hochskaliertem, eingescannten Cover + dem "Limited Coloured Vinyl" Dreck Fleck. Edit: Anzahl Lieder 3 Ehm ja.. und welche sind denn das ZYX? Die selben 3, die alle auf den Vinyls von damals zu finden waren? Ok touché, der "In F.M. Mix" fehlte tatsächlich damals auf der ZYX Vinyl Ausgabe 1998... Naja hört sich irgendwie an, als hätten Sie ursprünglich mehr geplant. Wer weiß.
