Ich bin 2010 auf VNV aufmerksam geworden, lustigerweise durch einen Thread in der CasaDAG, in dem es um den VNV-Remix von "I Regret" von De/Vision ging (sehr empfehlenswert ist auch sein Remix von "Sinéad" von Within Temptation). Der Remix hat mir gefallen und so bin ich beim damals aktuellen Album "Automatic" gelandet, das mir gleich richtig gut gefallen hat. Inzwischen habe ich alle Alben von VNV, wobei mir das neueste "Noire" sehr gut gefällt. Durch seine Kooperation mit dem Babelsberger Filmorchester auf der "Renaissance" konnte ich sogar meine Frau zum Fan von VNV machen. Diese klassisch neu eingespielten Songs sind m. E. ausgesprochen gut gelungen und live - ich durfte ihn zweimal mit dem Orchester sehen - ist das was ganz Besonderes. Ich hab das sehr gefeiert, als ich im ersten Mix von Gigi den Song von VNV am Ende gehört habe und jetzt noch einen der schönsten am Ende vom dritten Set. Das "Another World, Another Day" ab Minute 14 soll aus dem Jahr 1993 stammen, ich finde dazu aber nichts... Auf jeden Fall sehr schön!
